The 46'er Book Club is a reading club modeled on the 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks. Just as hikers can reach the goal of standing on all 46 summits, elementary students can reach the goal of reading each of the books that goes along with the peak. The goal of the club is to encourage students to read independently. It may take students several years to complete all the books on the list. Choose a peak and read a book. Reading is a lifelong skill.
